Hobe Sound is an unincorporated part of southern Martin County sitting between the Atlantic and a long run of preserve land. Service covers the gated golf communities, the older residential streets, and the properties along Bridge Road and U.S. 1.
The split between HOA and no-HOA matters more here than anywhere else on the route. Hobe Sound Golf Club, Heritage Ridge, and Lost Lake run to a written landscape standard. Poinciana Gardens, around 350 single-family homes west of U.S. 1, has none at all, and neither do most of the older streets. The work is the same either way; only the approval step changes.

The no-HOA streets change the conversation more than the work. On a Poinciana Gardens property the bed shape and the hedge height are decided in the driveway with whoever owns the house.
